job openings in the oil & gas industry
Most of the early jobs around Marcellus
Shale gas drilling appear to be in support industries that develop
well sites, with employment as excavators, truckers, pipeline
installers and material handlers. The influx of out of state workers
has also stimulated the hotel, restaurant and bar business, creating
additional jobs near natural gas fields.
Dozens of companies with gas well related services have begun to
set-up shop in towns and cities around Marcellus Shale drilling
activities, and will soon be looking to hire additional employees.
Job listings may include employment compatible with laid-off
worker's job skills.
