Photos of Camp Agape Bible camp on Agape Road. Work began in late summer of 2010 to clearcut mature woodlands in order to create a Marcellus Shale drilling pad and access road. The location is permitted for 6 horizontal Marcellus Shale gas wells.

SCHOOL BUS CRASH ON AGAPE ROAD

October 11, 2011 - Sixteen students from Ft Cherry School District escaped injury Monday morning thanks in part to their school bus driver, who took action to avoid an oncoming truck that sideswiped the bus along Agape Road in Mt. Pleasant Township.

The bus driver stopped and pulled over as far as possible when she saw a truck owned by Fluid Delivery Solutions of Oakdale coming down the narrow road. The truck collided with the side of the bus despite McCrory's efforts. Police said speed was not a factor in the crash; however, truck driver Gregory Hetrick, 22, of South Park, will be cited for driving with a suspended license.
