Violation: Spill; 42 to 84 gallons of hydraulic fracturing flowback fluid spilled to the ground from a pressure valve on a waste water line that was transferring the fluid to the well site to do hydraulically fracturing; all of the fluid was contained to a hand-dug pit beneath the valve once the spill was discovered.
Repsonse: Company said the spill was the result of a leak in the valve; contaminated soil was excavated and removed.
